I'm pleased to share that Otlar Sararırken , the three-part behind-the-scenes documentary series featuring nearly seven hours of footage that I filmed during the production of About Dry Grasses, is now streaming on HBO Max.
Alongside my role as Executive Producer of About Dry Grasses, documenting the entire filmmaking journey with my camera was an extraordinary experience.
Filmed across the landscapes of Erzurum, Adıyaman, and Istanbul, the production allowed me to observe the creative process of director Nuri Bilge Ceylan from a unique dual perspective—as both a producer and the person documenting the film behind the scenes.
Following its world premiere in Competition at the Cannes Film Festival, where Merve Dizdar received the Best Actress Award, the film was also selected as Türkiye's official submission for the 96th Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category.
